Erika assists the Environmental Practice Group in a variety of matters, such as local, state and federal permitting related to client development projects, review of issues related to environmental contamination, and environmental impact review. She also works on litigation matters related to land use and environmental issues, and works with the Environmental Group on matters related to due diligence for the acquisition of renewable and other energy projects.
She also assists attorneys in a variety of other research and drafting assignments.

- Law Clerk for two Albany-based law firms, focusing on litigation in state and federal courts, including § 1983 actions and other matters involving government liability.
- Research Assistant to Hon. Leslie E. Stein (Ret.), Director of the Government Law Center at Albany Law.
- Intern to Hon. Rachel L. Kretser (Ret.), Chair of the Third Judicial District Gender Fairness Committee.
- Teaching Assistant in Constitutional Law and Torts at Albany Law School of Union University.
