Congratulations to Katherine Crain on being named to the Albany Business Review’s 40 Under 40 list! As partner and chair of our Trust and Estate Practice Group here at Couch White, Kate has continued to strengthen the firm with her steadfast focus on maximizing growth and efficiency since she took the leadership reins in 2021.
Kate started as a summer associate at Couch White. After seeing the incredible promise in the aspiring attorney, the Firm offered her a full-time position, and her career has blossomed since. Kate developed a passion for estate and tax planning in law school, and after spending the beginning years of her career in the corporate practice group, she began to specialize in Trusts and Estates. In 2019, Couch White established a dedicated practice vertical — and Kate spearheaded that growth, which elevated her to partner in 2021. Kate now serves as the Trusts and Estates Practice Group Chair – an impressive feat for a young attorney. Kate’s high level of expertise and unique ability to form an instant rapport with clients is quickly making her a Trusts and Estates industry leader in the Northeast.
The prestigious 40 Under 40 list celebrates young professionals who have demonstrated exceptional talent, leadership, and innovation in their respective fields and are helping to shape the Capital Region.
