Couch White is happy to welcome back Jim King as a partner in the firm’s energy practice. He returns after serving as in-house counsel for the world’s largest generator of renewable energy and industry leader in competitive transmission. A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, Jim has been practicing law for more than 25 years.
Jim has extensive experience representing varied interests in the energy and environmental fields in all phases of contractual negotiations, project development, environmental permitting and regulatory matters. He has served as lead attorney on multiple renewable energy projects throughout the country and has built public and private consensus in diverse settings, including across all branches of government.
