John is a member of the firm’s Construction, Litigation, and Environmental Practice Groups, where he represents corporate, municipal, and private clients in a wide range of matters involving construction litigation, environmental and land use law, commercial litigation, and employment law. With more than 20 years of legal experience, he has earned a reputation for providing practical counsel and effective advocacy to clients throughout New York.

Prior to joining Couch White, John represented the United States in affirmative civil enforcement matters involving environmental enforcement and civil rights violations. He also defended the interests of the United States in employment litigation, regulatory challenges, and Federal Tort Claims Act matters.
