The New York State Reliability Council, L.L.C. (NYSRC) announced today that Amanda De Vito Trinsey, Esq. was appointed as legal counsel to the NYSRC. In her role as counsel, Amanda will be responsible for supporting the NYSRC on all legal matters, including, but not limited to, representation before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the New York State Public Service Commission, the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, the Northeast Power Coordinating Council, Inc., the New York Independent System Operator, Inc., and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
Amanda is a Partner and Co-Chair of the Energy Practice Group at Couch White, LLP, where she has distinguished herself as a leader at the Firm and has been providing counsel to clients for over a decade. Her practice is focused on advising businesses and organizations on matters across the energy spectrum, including but not limited to: utility ratemaking; customer disputes with utilities; economic development; matters before federal and state regulatory agencies; design and operation of wholesale markets for energy, installed capacity, ancillary services; transmission services; public policy development and implementation; and judicial proceedings.
