The new Hero Act requires employers to adopt a COVID protocol

Concerning notice, a copy of the plan needs to be given to employees within 30 days if implantation in English and any other primary language of its employees. Also it must distribute it to new hires at time of hire. The plan must be posted in every worksite the employer has control over, excluding work vehicles. Lastly, the plan has to be incorporated into the employer’s handbook, if it has one.
