Geoff advises businesses, commercial entities, business owners, and investors on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and corporate reorganizations. Geoff also advises on day-to-day general corporate and commercial matters, such as business entity formation and management, general corporate governance, and the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements.
Prior to joining Couch White, Geoff engaged in the practice of M&A and other private and public company corporate transactions, and general corporate matters in the New York City office of a prominent, Ohio-based national firm and in the Washington, D.C. office of a Chicago-based international law firm with a global footprint.

- Representation of foreign and domestic, privately and publicly held businesses and private equity funds on all aspects of buy- and sell-side transactions ranging in size from less than $1 million to over $1 billion.
- Representation of privately and publicly held businesses on transactional and corporate governance aspects of corporate reorganizations, including pre-transaction separations, post-acquisition integrations, spin-offs, and tax-planning restructurings.
- Representation of foreign and domestic early, growth, and mature stage businesses on venture capital, minority investment, and joint venture transactions.
- Representation of foreign and domestic privately and publicly held businesses on U.S. corporate governance matters and in connection with the negotiation of commercial agreements.
