Cole represents clients in all stages of litigation in state and federal courts, with a focus on the construction industry. He provides strategic legal counsel to general contractors, subcontractors, and other construction professionals on a wide range of matters, including contract disputes, procurement challenges, D/M/WBE compliance, competitive bidding, prevailing wage issues, and mechanics’ liens.

Prior to joining Couch White, Cole was a law clerk and associate at a local law firm where he worked in many areas including litigation, landlord tenant, municipal insurance defense, general business, immigration, and hospitality.

Professional Experience

  • Researched and drafted pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials on a diverse portfolio of litigation matters in state and federal courts, as well as administrative proceedings.
  • Lead depositions, direct and manage case schedule for active litigation.
  • Managed all aspects of Municipal Housing Insurance defense for approximately 20 matters concurrently.
  • Research Assistant at Albany Law School of Union University to Professor Hayat Bearat, previous Director of Family Violence Litigation Clinic.
