Christopher advises businesses and commercial entities on a wide range of general corporate and transactional matters, including entity formation and management, commercial real estate and financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, loan transactions, contract drafting and negotiation, and general corporate governance and compliance.
Prior to joining Couch White, Chris practiced in the Real Estate Finance Department of a Boston-based international law firm.

Professional Experience
- Represented clients in general corporate and commercial matters, such as business formation, organizational structuring and commercial contract negotiations.
- Represented institutional lenders in the making of commercial mortgage-backed security (CMBS) and balance sheet loans secured by a variety of commercial real estate assets including commercial office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, industrial warehouses, and multifamily housing developments, such financing involving sophisticated issues surrounding the capital markets industry, including cash management arrangements, ground leases, mezzanine financing, defeasance, condominiums, multiborrower and multiproperty structures and A/B Note and portfolio loan structures.
- Represented investors in conventional multifamily transactions with a focus on portfolio dispositions and acquisitions, as well as the dispositions and acquisitions of individual properties.
- Interned for the Tax and Transactions Clinic at Albany Law School, counseling low-income individuals and non-profit businesses with state and federal tax issues and other legal matters.
- At Albany Law School, Chris was the Executive Editor for symposium for the Albany Law Review and the director of finance for the Anthony Cardona Moot Court Program. He also participated in the Ruby R. Vale Moot Court Competition at Delaware Law School and was the recipient of the John Dugan Award (Highest GPA in Tax Law).
