Effective Construction Claim Resolution: Understanding DCAA (Public Contract Law Journal, Winter 2014). Contractor claims against the U.S. Government, where significant, will be audited. The article addresses the Defense Contract Audit Agency, its role in dispute resolution, and recent cases involving DCAA. It focuses on what the contractor’s attorney and the government’s attorney can do to make the audit a better tool for dispute resolution (i.e., how to increase audit timeliness and ensure the audit advances dispute resolution).
