On March 13, 2015, Couch White, along with The Pace Energy and Climate Center and the New York State Department of Public Service (PSC), will co-sponsor a seminar on New York’s Energy Vision: A Conversation on Valuing Resources. This one-day seminar will bring academic, practitioner and public expertise to bear on key topics of interest in the Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) case
currently underway in New York State. The seminar will explore how prices can improve the efficiency of the electric system, encourage investment in New York’s energy market, ensure customer generators are fairly compensated for the value of their contribution to the network, and ensure affordable rates. The seminar will include two sessions to analyze these issues and provide opportunities for panelist debate and audience participation. Audrey Zibelman, Chair of the New York State Public Service Commission, will be the Keynote Speaker.
