Couch White, LLP has named Brian P. Murphy as Partner in its Corporate and Commercial Transactions and Real Estate practice groups.
Brian’s practice focuses on advising businesses, entrepreneurs, investors and real property developers in connection with general corporate, business and transactional matters, including business formation, joint ventures, strategic transactions, mergers & acquisitions, real property development, debt and equity financings, commercial contracts and general corporate counseling. He represents corporate clients across the entire corporate growth spectrum, from start-up to sale, and advises business enterprises with respect to strategic growth plans and strategy. He is also active in significant commercial real property sales and acquisitions. Prior to joining Couch White, Brian was an associate in the New York City office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, where his practice concentrated on mergers and acquisitions and major corporate transactions, and Cooley LLP, a leading venture capital law firm. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School.
