Our corporate and construction clients should take particular note of a current mail scam. Mail is being sent from “The Corporate Compliance Services”, and are often entitled “LABOR LAW COMPLIANCE REQUEST FORM”. This form can be easily mistaken as official correspondence from the State of New York or other jurisdiction.
The New York State Department Labor has a list of all required postings. The Department of Labor also provides posters free of charge that can be downloaded from the DOL its website. As a best practice, businesses should check all such emails against the DOL website.
