Couch White Victorious in Discrimination Case Before the EEOC
In this case, the Complainant alleged that he was discriminated against because of his national origin, age, and a disability. Respondent contended that his employment was terminated because he refused to comply with the Company’s policies, and was insubordinate. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) found no evidence supporting the discrimination claims and closed its file. Couch White partner, Melanie J. LaFond, from the Firm’s Labor and Employment law practice group successfully defended the claims before the EEOC.
