Couch White Obtains Favorable Decision For Power For Jobs Clients
On October 20, 2009, Couch White, LLP obtained a favorable decision at the New York State Court of Appeals in In the Matter of Crucible Materials Corporation, et al. v. New York Power Authority. On January 14, 2010, the Court also denied a motion for reargument.
A paper company faced with a protracted strike utilized purchased of pulp, rather than running its own pulp mill, and hired permanent replacements for more than 400 striking employees.
